Warning

It’s near impossible to buy a Buck book in a brick-and-mortar bookstore. There may be a reader’s copy chained to the store commode, but the blue biscuit is difficult to hit while guffawing. Guffawing is an all-too-infrequent exercise today, but for happy practitioners, a deep cleansing of the soul, an all too infrequent blessing to blow snot.

It’s also difficult to buy an e-book copy of a Buck classic because there is currently only one—the latest culinary extravaganza. Quick-Fix Cooking with Roadkill. Previously read print copies can be found online as wives list husbands’ dog-eared copies on eBay and other internet dumps with free shipping to get that “garbage” out of the house. Good News: Brand-new print editions of The Original Roadkill Cookbook and slightly read copies of Buck’s early classics can be found online at retailers listed below.

Best News!!

A national foundation committed to raising literary standards has pledged financial support to bring Buck’s guides, cookbooks, and scholarly works to the e-audiences sitting in their e-easy chairs. Maybe even books you can hold in your hand. Hard to say which books may be chosen and in what order, but updates will be available on this website and by the newsletter.

Until then, set your dial on 000.1 KBuck, stand on your left leg for 5 minutes, and eat more oysters.

P.S. Dorothy, Buck’s hunting pig says hello.

Let the treasure hunt begin!

A portion of the e-sales at these fine stores will be used to purchase a big bowl of Moo Shu Pork (using tofu instead) for Dorothy, Buck's hunting pig.
